About accomplishing building a delivery room
We succeeded in building a delivery room in Naphai Ⅱ Health Care Center, which is a hospital used by people in 9 villages. Before building this deliver room,
it had been very difficult for most of pregnant women to get periodical examination, even give birth to children in hospital, for following reasons.
At first, it had taken 30 minutes by cars to go to the nearest place to deliver children. In addition to this, most of people living there do not have their cars.
Now, the hospital we built a delivery room is used for a mobile clinic by NPO. University of Health Sciences in Laos is planning to use the hospital for training medical students.
About provision of medical instruments
After accomplishing our goal, building a delivery room in Naphai Ⅱ Health Care Center, we found it a good idea to provide medical instruments to NPO.
We are planning to give especially these medical instruments which are showed in the pictures. We are going to provide mainly the instruments used in maternal and child health care, but we will provide the instruments for another medical fields, if these are needed.
